Mumsy I have fond memories of Ubud. If I remember correctly it was the nicest budget accommodation we had experienced in the short time we had been traveling.
Leanne I will remember this & avoid Kuta! The 'happy Buddha' comment made me laugh out loud! Tony & I were only yesterday discussing how we would keep the weight off over the 7 months we'll be away! X
Leanne Jeepers! Just a few pigeons! You were in Nepal at roughly the time we will be- cot or Nov, depending on whether we start in China or Nepal after Africa.

Joel Pikari You'd been planning this trip well before we were together and I hope it was everything you dreamed it would be! Every single destination, hotel, flight etc... It was all you! sandra goedhart Nice to hear from you Joel. We have not met but I have known Tanya forever. I agree travelling is amazing. I am only just starting my adventures at 53. You have indeed been lucky to be able to do it while you are young. Dont stop now and dont let children stop you, take them with you and share the wonderful places with them. Maybe one day somewhere I will get to meet you. Thankyou for sharing all of this with me

Mum and Dad It's hard to believe that your incredible adventure is coming to an end. We felt so lucky to share a very small part of it with you in Vietnam. You will have so many wonderful memories. We hope that one day in the future, like us, you will have the pleasure of sharing and comparing these memories with your children. See you very soon!

Mumsy I'm amazed at how much vegetation is on the craters. They were absolutely barren 30 years ago!
