Day 166 - Saturday 14th August

Met up with Miguel again!! Took me for some great breakfast of indescribable bready fajita spicy numbers. Spent the afternoon exploring the art zone of the city Bella Artes checking out different museums. Amazing tacos for dinner (possibly but hopefully not containing dog) and then tequila night back at the hostel...oh dear

Day 167 - Sunday 15th August

Headed out to Estadio Azteca to watch a Mexican football game! Return travel, ticket to the game, food and drink for less than a tenner...bargainous! Nothing on Argentina but still a good atmosphere. The team is sponsored by 'Bimbo', the main bakery in Mexico and consequently the team walks to the dugout through inflatable loaves of bread, surrounded by a range of other inflatable wheat-based goods...

Day 168 - Monday 16th August

Miguel took me for more food and to check out the older district of Mexico City. After buying a couple of great Mexico shirts I was ready to come home!! After a long nervous wait for a plane ticket I was told I wouldn't be able to board :( But then at the 11th hour they found me a seat...in business class!

And I guess that's that. Almost 6 months, 15 countries, a hell of a lot of buses but also a whole lot of amazing memories. Best time of my life. Back home now and ready to start the next great chapter of my life...work.

Perhaps not so great...! Asia-Oceana tour of 2013?
