Jings is that the time? Easter??? Cannae believe its four months since I last posted a message. Mind you I have been without internet since December, long story. Never sign up with Orange. Total wallies and neither Govinda, Sanji nor Jalfreezi in their customer service office somwhere east of Tooting Beck was able to sort my problem out. Thank goodness for Enya in their Cork office who had it sorted in ten minutes. "Dats you back online Begorrah and Bejeevers!!!"
Been a very hectic few months. Been playing once and sometimes twice a week with my band the Jolly Beggars in around southside Glasgow. Hoping to get a slot at the Montrose Music Festival in May.
Last week Naomi produced my first grandwean Lois Eilidh and we went down to Dumfries say hello to the wee princess on Monday. Then bad news one of my pals Gerry Loftus died suddenly on Wednesday. So its been a week of very mixed emotions.
Will try to give you guys a call over the weekend to catch up in more detail. So away and roll your eggs somewhere in Worcester Park and I'll do the same here in Shawlands or maybe even in East Kilbride.
Take care and cheerio for now Jim

Hey Maggie, I am so sorry I missed you when you and your hubby came to Canada. I would of loved to see, living up North and having a little one it was kind of tough for me to get to Lorna's. It has been so so long. I still have very fond memories of you and the family when Mom took me to Scotland. Linda told me what you guys have been doing with yourselves and all I can say is WOW. That is so awesome. That is a dream come true.
Please say hello to everyone for me. I send my wishes to everyone.
Take care. I wish you both all the health and happiness along your travels.
Love Jeanne

Sorry for the belated New Year greetings but I thought I had e-mailed you but we lost a lot of our old sent e-mails so no idea if we did wish you a happy new year. But we are now! Just been catching up with all your photos. Some of the Antarctic ones are really impressive. I might pinch some of your NZ ones cos some of mine weren't that great. We had Ian stay with us for a night just before Xmas on his way to Montrose to pick up his mum to take back to Wales. It was not much of a night for him because I was really ill as I had caught labyrinthitis. Never been so sick in a long time, thankfully it stopped after the doc gave me an injection but was off work for a week. I phoned Ian at Xmas and he said he had gone on a pub crawl on his own in Montose. He started at the Lochside and worked his way into town. He said the only one worth visiting was the Northern Vaults although I think its called something else now. I think he fancies me going to Montrose with him sometime as it is now 5 years since I went up with him. We bored him with all the Aussie/NZ photos. Joan fancies going back to Toronto as long as we don't stay in Chinatown like last time. We will no doubt hear from you when you return. Are you having a returning home party? Bye for now.
