21th - 22nd July 2009

We arrived in Hue after an extremely tedious bus ride from Hoi Anh where we were constantly stopped by police for some reason on a cramped bus with no air con. We wanted to spend some time in Hue as it used to be the capital of Vietnam and it had a pretty significant war history. Unfortunately it poured with rain for the majority of the time there and we didn't actually do anything but eat, drink and sleep. As we were on a tight timeline now we couldn't hang around for any longer and ended up missing out on what we came for. It wasn't all a waste though. When we went to dinner we were all sitting at a large table and Kahlee stopped talking and then said 'My chair's going to break' one second later she was on the floor cracking up laughing along with the rest of us, sooooo funny - Hanoi here we come.
