Arrived at kyoto to discover id left my camera in Horoshima!! Only realised in the morning and luckily an extremely helpful receptionist helped me sort it out. Ended up booking train back to H, thank GOD for the rail pass! Def got money's worth. So i left Tokyo fairly early in the morning as I was getting the Shinkansen 'bullet train' down to Hiroshima. This is in the south of Japan and my plan was to see Hiroshima and then make my way back up to Tokyo stopping at various places on the way. Brilliant start to the day - fell down the stairs in the hostel smashing two mugs on my way and winded myself! I forgot that winding even existed, think I was about 6 the last time that happened..
