Rebecca Sorry to crorect you but you went over Lake Manapouri not Wakatipu on your way to Doubtful Sound. You are the 1st person I have have heard say that the preferred Milford to Doubtful. Lake Wakatipu is at Queenstown not in the beautiful Fiordland the place I call home.

Bry Rena, part of me wants to say don't cut short your trip as it sounds like you are having an amazing time, but the other part of me understands. I am enjoying vicariously living through you on this trip that I actually dont want it to end as i enjoy reading the updates and have learnt alot. Take care and enjoy every moment of it.

Rowers I wasn't rushing... and I was pretty much the only person who listened to our tour guide!! I just thought some of the tour was a bit pointless. And I went to Starbucks because the hotel food costs a fortune, so it's a cheap way to eat!!

Alan & Wendy Rena, you need to emerse yourself in the local culture. You're in no rush, so why not take a day? Do you really need to rush back for muffin(s) and a latte? Looks a nice place.
