Arrived into Berlin and found our hostel Lettem Sleep in eastern Berlin, quite a cool little place with lots of cafes and bars around. To be honest I'm writing this 2 weeks later and struggling to remember what we did!!

Did a bike tour of the city which gave us a good overview so we could go back to a few places the following day. It was interesting to learn more about the cold war which i knew little about.

Claire & I found some really cool shops, shopping was great!! As I only have a backpack to live out of and limited space only bought one item which was very restrained I thought! A hoodie!

Silke had recommended us a few clubs in Berlin so we checked out the night scene, some pretty cool bars and a club or two, mind you was only a tuesday night so kinda quiet.

Spent about 3 days here, then Claire took off for London (the end of her europe trip) and we headed for Venice...
