Hi Adam & Hema, Thank you so much for looking after us in LA, we had a fantastic time and really happy to have seen so much within our tight schedule thanks to you both. Please, please give us a call when you reach the UK. We appreciate you may have a tight schedule too but Im sure we can sort out some excursions cant promise The Viper Room or the roof top of The Standard! Well we only have a couple of weeks now and so long as we sort our visa for India (oops bit late) and soooooooo looking fwd to seeing Aysh and her new baby SJ, Im sure that JB is making a fantastic big brother : ) Thank you so much again and we wish you lots of success with your business, just make sure you keep one of your lush homes for yourselves one day!! Take care always, lots of love Paus & Jon xxxx PS Feel free to email us any photos we can plug them on this website - will tell J to save contacts to hotmail so doesnt go straight through to junkbox, which is rather annoying if we dont check for a few days cos they are automatically deleted. PPS Just incase you two newly Weds from Southend are also reading this good luck with everything and for goodness sake TELL YOUR PARENTS!
From J&P to Jeff,Mardi&Max Mar 29 2006 09:42
Well hello Mr and Mrs Rayner, Mr Bryant and myself had a wonderful time with you both and Max (The Bump), from the very beginning in Seattle to traveling up to Vancouver, Canada and to you gorgeous home in Portland, Oregon. Mardi, thank you again for my beautiful gifts, I am using my Bucky travel pillow right now and sent some bits home to UK - I am very excited to get home so I can have a long bath and use my yummy bath tea and burn the scented candles and creams Jon will not be able to move without having some hand cream or a delicious candle waved under his nose! Kept a couple of travel candles, I gave my cousin Em one who lives in Japan and she loved it just like me : ) Let us know how little Maxie is getting on : ) Jeffo, hope youre not up to your eyeballs in emails and enjoying you love nest in Portland with M & M. Hey at least you havent got to go laptop shopping with us tonight! Just sitting on the plane to Hong Kong using our new toy, our new laptop for any of you reading this with rude minds!! Funny thing is we have had some red wine and a little diet coke in the dim lighting of the plane and Js just invented a new cocktail of the 2 mixed together thinking the 2 cups had red wine in oops guess they look like the same colour! Anyhoo nowhere near as good as your Mohjitos! Mardi, whats your email address? Sending you lots of love and snowballs Jondo and Paus xxxxx

We will separate this message into 2 sections. Since we hit the west coast, we have been treated like royalty by 2 couples(Ken & Kellie + Jeff & Mardy). Firstly after a few great days in Seattle with Jeff, Mardy and their friend John (thanks for the sightseeing tour and that great lunch stop. Still have the fish throwing video to email to you), J&MBump (as they will now be known as) had hired a car as Jeff's convertible wont fit 4 of us plus Mardy's ever growing bump in, to drive us up to Vancouver for the weekend. We arranged to meet Ken & Kellie who we met all those months ago on our first days in Lima and spent the next 3 weeks with them. What a great weekend! We can only thank K&K for their wonderful hospitality, their kindness and treatment of some weary travellers. We never stopped and also never seemed to pay for anything and received an interesting gift that has been wagging his head ever since!!! We can only say thank you very much and add the sincere and often used phrase that if you guys ever hit the UK you have a place to stay and will be shown the true England (probably minus the copious beer nights I mentioned!). Vancouver is a great city and we will definately be back.

It has been a while since we have been able to post a message and we have so many to thank. So in chronological order - Firstly, thank you to Petra for all her wonderful hospitality during our stay in Denver. After only knowing us for such a short period of time she treated us like old friends, showing us the sights of Denver and generally making things so easy and enjoyable for us. She even took the chance of introducing us to her great set of friends (we hope it wasnt too embarassing for her) and so thanks also go out to Paul, Big Jim & Deb, Jim & Deb, Keith, Judi and all the rest. You were all so kind and made things so relaxing and easy. Have to go now and see some big trees in california... thanks again to Petra and the gang in Denver (check out the pictures if you havent already). Love to all and keep the messages coming. J&Pxxxx
