HiYa to all my travelling companions
This will be my diary of a trip that began in Australia in early 08 but really begins in the UK in April 09 when I depart from the UK on a '92 BMW R100R. My plan is to cruise up through Poland to Russia, then make a bee-line for Siberia near Lake Baikal. The route then turns south through Mongolia via the Gobi Desert and back into Russia. From there it is all down hill all the way through the STANS and return to Europe via Iran and Turkey. It is going to take about 5 months, 25,000kms, 6tyres and hopefully many many wonderful hours of riding and experiencing the great peoples of Eurasia. Please feel free to share my blog as it is there hopefully to enrichen mine and as many others who want to come along for the journey. I am travelling solo! But there will be many friends along the way. So enjoy my trip through Eurasia and hopefully it will stimulate many of you to get out there and GO
