Yao Liang & Hui Sin's Footsteps

Tokyo - Museum Of Little Prince, Japan

Monday 17 December 2007

Once at the Gora Town, we took a bus which got us to the place's entrance at 3.30pm. Phew...just nice for us to have a little walk. Finally, the amazing race is over. Not quite...Too bad that the sun sets at 4.00pm in Japan during winter and we don't have enough time to take a lot of photos of the place.

I loved this story about little prince very very much. I'm glad that I'm able to fulfilled my dream of coming here to have a look at the place. Thanks dAr !!! The place is so wonderfully done ad decorated. I loved the European Style o the buildings, they are a bit old too. We took some photos of the place and quickly went to have a look at the gift shops.

Their gifts are all so cute !! This is their website. do have a look. http://www.tbs.co.jp/l-prince/shop/old/ I bought some stuff and I'm so much in a dilemma whether I should buy the fox or the snake. In the end I chose the snake cos' it more uniquely represented the story. Do have a look at the other photos of the merchandise that they have. Even better, do fly down to Japan and look for it yourself !!

Soon the sky turn darked and surprisingly, the night scene in the museum is so much different from the one in he daytime. Everything there is so brightly and beautifully lighted up, especially the plaza where there seats a grand Christmas tree. Too bad didn't get the chance to take good photos. But the feeling is worth every bit, right dAr ? Very romantic up here.

Another interesting thing up in the museum which I must say is that they have a little cosy catholic church there. Went in there to take a lot of the photos. It would be very sweet to get married there. I find my own writing limited in describing the wonderful things here at the museum but I do hope everyone can visit the place too. By the time we're out its 5.45pm already.

Without the Sun I believed the temperature dropped to 0 degrees. (I don't know guess only) We walked to the bus stop where we alighted to wait for the bus. Luckily we saw a vending angel (vending machine) which can save us from the cold. Bought 2 hot drinks which we hold on tightly only to go back to the bus stop and find out the last bus of the day is gone. Sh*t ! Panic!! Luckily (yes again) we saw a group of people at the other side of the road and walked over and found a bus that took us all the way to the station where we can take the Odakyu Line back to Shinjuku.
