Today's the day all of us, Simon, Jun Jun, Siting, Yu Fei and of course not forgetting dAr Dar and me, went to Stanley Market. Its a must go place in Hong Kong. But before that we went to another restaurant which Simon recommended. They serve good Hong Kong breakfast there even though there's a mix of western breakfast due to the demand from tourist in the region. Please do browse my photo albums {Hong Kong Day 3} which has some photos about the place.
After that we headed down to Stanley which is located in the southern point of Hong Kong. Stanley which is famous for its Stanley Market, is a place worth visiting for many tourist due to the widespread of pubs and shops selling traditional and interesting wares. I myself went there with a goal to get myself a set of Terracotta Soldiers. By the way, we took a bus down from Times Square, not the kind of big buses seen in Singapore but mini coaches. They do not have fixed rates and they can allow people to alight anywhere just like the taxis. Its interesting. Along the way, what greeted us are interesting views of their "HDB". See it for yourself !
True enough, the Stanley Market is exactly the same as what I expected. Many shops selling wares and antiques. I managed to buy what I aimed for at the start of the trip down to Stanley. Didn't manage to take a lot of photos here though as we spent a lot of time rummaging through the streets and shops. Due to time constraints, we have to leave Stanley Market for the Peak, one of another place tourist must visit.
