Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong

Tuesday 11 July 2006

This is Hong Kong International Airport, the quite newly built airport that gets featured in the many drama series filmed by TVBS. Although I think that most of the airports in the world are around the same, I felt totally excited when I'm here cos' I knew that I'm in some place that I've never been before and the idea of it is so good.

The Hong Kong International Airport have the same kind of train service as Changi Airport's Changi MRT Station. But unlike Singapore, their Airport is away from the main cities in Hong Kong so they have a dedicated Airport Express Line which runs from the Airport to Major places like Tsing Yi, Kowloon and Central Station. Buying of the 3 day unlimited Octopus Card (like our Ez-link card) is a must as its quite worth it.

I'm greeted with an amazing sight when the MTR train (MRT in Singapore) for the Airport Express arrives. It is so cosy that it looks like another mini airplane. The seats very comfortable and the mos amazing thing is that there is LCD TV on some of the seats. dAr fiddled with it for a while, but they are mostly commercials. I thought that they might have some TVB Series. Haha.
