Today's the last day in Hong Kong and since we have an afternoon plane to catch back to Singapore, we decided to go on some exploring in the morning further up north of Hong Kong. Me, dAr, Siting and Fei went to the goldfish market. We were early when we got there and a lot of the shops are not opened yet. But it's worth the wait as the shops are amazing. All kinds of fishes that one can see. Some of them are more classy aquarium shops while others are small business which sells fishes held in small packs. But all of them have one thing common between them. It's that photography is not allowed there.
After that we went of the the next street which sells all flowers and decorative plants. Got to see some of the interesting and unique plants there but too bad we can't bring back any of the plants there without AVA investigating it. And because it's drizzling in the mornig, we decided to head back to pack our stuff.
On the way, I bought my lunch which is the super big wanton noodle from a old cosy shop. Had quite a difficulty ordering it as most of the people there still speak in cantonese and not mandarin. The wanton taste good but too bad it did not make an overall impression due to the soup.
The cover photo is an interesting one I got from the Hong Kong International Airport. The toilet sign points to the lift. Weird, do they pee in the lift?
