Laguna Cejar, Chile

This afternoon I visited Laguna Cejar, which has bottomless pools of water that's very high in salt and minerals, similar to Dead Sea. We got to swim there, which was lovely, especially with a beautiful view of surrounding volcanos with snow peaks. We watched the sunset over pisco sours and some snacks which was a nice touch. The guide gave us the history of all the surrounding volcanoes, which was quite interesting. It was a great way to relax after an adventuro...

As soon as we arrived to San Pedro de Atacama, we booked a tour to Moon Valley, known for its unique landscape. It looked liked the desert was covered in snow because of the salt that was exposed due to heavy rain and the mountains were covered in snow. It was quite striking. We stayed in Mendoza for three days. The streets resembled any European city, with lots of cafes and restaurants.i found a place on airbnb at this house in downtown. The owner's name is Karma, and he rents rooms in his house, and cooks for his guests. He also has his own wine (called Karma). On our wine tour in Mendoza we visited three places. First was boutique olive oil maker. It was a small family business, with a beautiful garden, filled with olive trees and lavender bushes. We really enjoyed the tour of the facility, and learned a lot about olive oil production. Villarrica Volcano, Chile

Today I had my first mountaineering experience climbing a Villarica volcano right outside of Pucón, Chile. It was the hardest thing for me physically so far, because it was very steep and the gear is pretty heavy and uncomfortable (mainly the boots). The altitude was not the issue since it was only 2,800 meters. We had three guides that were locals. The group was not very big, only 9 people - Israeli, Brazilian and us.
