As soon as we arrived to San Pedro de Atacama, we booked a tour to Moon Valley, known for its unique landscape. It looked liked the desert was covered in snow because of the salt that was exposed due to heavy rain and the mountains were covered in snow. It was quite striking. We walked a bit through the valley, and then the guide took us to Death Valley to watch the sunset while drinking pisco sours. The sunset was unbelievable... We were a bit skeptical because it was a bit cloudy, but then we were all masmorized by the gold light moving across the mountains. It was absolutely spectacular!
