Friday 31 August we drove a mere 50 km's up the road into Germany to Berchtesgaden. We could have seen this area without moving the caravan, but we decided we were ready for a change of scenery. On Saturday 25 August we left Lake Lucerne and headed into Austria to Innsbruck. We were in 3 countries in 1 day as we headed out of Switzerland, through Liechtenstein and into Austria. It was raining most of the day and once again Loche was very pleased to find there were no hill climbs for this leg of the trip. Loche being Loche, woke up the next day (Wednesday 15 August) at 4.30am ready to leave Venice for Switzerland. Luckily this was a caravan park where you could leave early (many of them have noise restrictions and you can't drive your car between 11pm and 7am).
