Day 13 Panama Canal Transit

What a day!

We woke early to watch our transition through the Gatun Locks to a champagne breakfast, get us! We've been through twice before but always stayed in Lake Gatun and returned to the Caribbean. This time it's for real and we continued on towards the Pacific Ocean before going under the Bridge of the Americas. I could see Panama City in the distance and it looks like any major upcoming city….a building site!

It was sooooo hot today and because I was up on deck walking around taking thousands of photos, which I've since deleted! I got a bit burnt.

We're now sailing towards Acapulco, so check back in a couple of days.
