We arrived in Ranthambore and had the afternoon to chill in preparation for the early morning safari the following day.
In the morning a 20 seater canter arrived to pick us up for the safari. There were some tourists from Denmark on board our canter that we'd met earlier in a restaurant and after chatting to them a little more learned that they were travelling round the world for 1 year as a family. We thought they must be loaded... Anyway it was good fun driving round the national park and we saw loads of animals from vultures and owls to monkeys, dear and wild boar. Unfortunately though the only sighting we got of a tiger were footprints left in the sand.
After the tour we left Ranthambore (there is nothing to do there, which we found out on the first night when we left our hotel and got alot of strange looks from the locals) and headed for Jaipur, the pink city...
