Actually, that picture in your last blog of the Statue of Liberty is a picture of the Statue of Liberty. Not Ellis Island. I know you've been gone for a long time, but pull yourself together.

I was so scared that something bad was going to happen alas you are fine and dandy just missing some caffeine in your blood system. Wow, Helen, I had no idea that the days in Israel were 27 hours long. Oh well, I'm glad you get the 5 hours of sleep to go along with your 22 hours of digging/lecture ;-p

Seriously, though, you said these trips would be ORGANIZED. Liar.

Sounds like you're having an exciting year! My excitement starts in about a month - I'm off to Amsterdam for a weekend, the Dominican Republic for Faye's wedding then Argentina for week for a conference. I still haven't made it to the Middle East or Oceania - hope you enjoy it!

Just read your first Megiddo entry and it sounds like you're having such a fantastic time! I love that your British next door neighbors were surprised by your Doctor Who and Torchwood affection; when did you watch Torchwood, though? We've never discussed it!
