Helen Well done ! You did well not to eat any meat....what about the cake?!! Don't forget it's Jubilee w/e - if you have anything with which to celebrate, cheers! - Union jacks are everywhere here. Looks like the weather will be ok too! Great photos!! and an enjoyable read thanks - a bit more relaxed than usual!

Rashell It was great to hear from you and to be able to read something of what you have been doing. What an amazing experience! I do hope we will have the opportunity to meet up when you are back. not moving until 3rd September. Dissertation deadline on 4th, school starts on 5th. Talk about cutting it fine! Some things never change. Will write more soon. xxx

Rachel To the best parents in the world, thank you for such a wonderful trip! It was so so lovely to see you and be back in your great company once again. You are making a huge difference up there so keep at it and we are all very excited for your return. At the Olympics yesterday with all the siblings we really missed you! Kevin Lock I taught in PNG for some 10 years spanning two periods from the early 1960s and later, up to and after independence in '75. I am saddened that the peaceful, well organised administration of the past is no more and corruption and violence is rife. I have often thought of revisiting PNG, however it is too expensive and dangerous. I had a young VSO fellow as a staff member in the 1970s. I wish you well.
