FYI North American Tour

Keene, Texas

Tuesday 12 January 2010

We had two schools on the menu today: Burton Adventist Academy, Arlington, and Chisholm Trail Academy, Keene. Two great schools, Chisholm Trail is right near Southwestern University and Burton is only a fairly new school, so it's real nice.

It's been good catching up with the other recruiters too. Just like old times! Anyway, our next school is way down in South Texas and is a good 9 hr trip from Keene, so we didn't have alot of time to sight-see today. Erin, from Andrews University, was also driving down to McAllen, TX, so she ended up following us down in her rental car.

It was a good trip, cause we cut right through the centre of Texas, travelling via Waco, Austin (the capital), and San Antonio. It would've been sweet to stop in at Waco to see the site of the Waco Siege, and San Antonio to visit The Alamo (a big part of Texas history), but I guess it's something we'll have to return to in the future.
