Last night we drove 7hrs from Auburn, Washington and spent our second night in Missoula, Montana. Mount Ellis Academy was only about 3hrs from Missoula, and the fair wasn't until 1 in the afternoon, so we drove the 3hrs to Bozeman this morning. The Academy is a boarding school in a quiet spot out of Bozeman with rolling hills all around and bigger mountains just a ways away.

Initially we had planned to stay in Bozeman tonight and attend church in the morning before heading back across to Washington and Walla Walla for Sunday and Monday, but we checked the distance to Walla Walla from Bozeman and realized that we could make it in about 9hrs, so after the fair we were in the car backtracking toward Washington again.
