Recovery in Townsville and onward to Cairns - 11th to 13th September We took the horror all night flight from Perth to Townsville as it put us in Townsville at 8:00am in the morning of 11th. Once off the flight it was time to get a taxi to the Lockup storage to retrieve the bikes. It took a little bit of time to get the batteries reconnected and panniers etc. back onto the bikes. Returning to Townsville - 10th September 2012 It is with a heavy heart that we return to Townsville and our motorbikes to continue our trip home. Little Orlena is stable and will be getting some intensive rehabilitation over the next few months so now is probably the best time to return and head for home. Orlena Has Woken Up! Tuesday 28 August 2012 Two days ago our 3 year old granddaughter Orlena woke up in ICU at Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth, 20 days after her head injury fall. She is unable to talk and her darling eyes are showing fear and confusion, as if she is wondering what is happening, but the positive sign is that she is appearing to recognise close family members as we lean over to talk to her. 22 August 2012 The Worst 2 Weeks of My Life: Perth WA Our darling 3 year old granddaughter Orlena is still critically ill in Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth.
