Bargara on a drizzly day - 23rd June Gone is the idea of Queensland being the "Sunshine State" it has been drizzling all night and stil misty rain in the morning. The best way to deal with this is to put on the wet weather gear and break out the umbrellas. Time to do a walk up along the coast, Trish has her hiking sticks out and looks like she is off cross country skiing but she forgot to take her skis. At least they keep her gammy knee working without pain on...

Continuing the migration northward - Bargara Beach 21st and 22nd June. All Trish's research has done it again and she has found us another little gem. Bargara Beach which is 15km east of Bundaberg Queensland and located in a small village-like atmosphere on the beach front. For a change we took the highway option straight up to Bargara. At only 198km it was an easy trip and after a short lunch break in Childers we arrived early afternoon to beautiful weather...

Enjoying Tin Can Bay Qld: Mon 18 June 2012 to Wed 20 June. Locals tell us we've bought the perfect weather with us; sunshine and no winds.
