Welcome to Cassandra & Zoe's Summer 2012 adventure. I seem to do this every decade or so with a trip around the Southern & Western US in 1990 and then New Zealand and Southeast Asia in 2000. I am eager to hit the road again - this time with my 11 year old, thrill-seeking daughter, Zoe - who has an excellent Spanish accent to help us find our way. We will begin with two weeks of a family home stay/Spanish school in Guatemala, fly to Quito, and then travel overland on the Andes route through Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia culminating with hiking the Inca Trail in mid-August.
