Hi Michaela, Donder, here! I've been trying to contact you for a long time. I can't believe we've been apart since NGRHS. How are you guys? Congrats on married life (which is very long overdue...) I've been on Facebook, and found your website address on one of the profiles - your website is great, by the way. Looks as though you have had lots of adventures. My "sister-in-law" and her new husband have been seeing a lot of the same things you and Joel have - they started in Korea teaching Engligh, and then were home for Christmas 04, then travelled the Asia & Europe during 05 and 06. Now they are living in Dubai (UAE). So I am familiar with a lot of the places you've been.

I've been such a terrible friend because this is the first time I've written to you guys in almost a year. It looks like you had a great time travelling and I'm so jealous! hi joel and micheala, brendan and erin here, just wishing you well. We;re still in wellington for another week then we bum around the rest of the country until march when we go onto australia then thailand. If you have any good stories about places to go or tips give me a shout on my cell 64211888702 or email cause its cheaper and i dont always have the cell around cause it never gets used. no point calling someone when all your friends live on the same floor as you. only 3 months left in our trip we;re meeting brian in europe before we go home for a few weeks and ben is getting married on the 13th of february. live long and prosper. love you both, but micheala more cause your ugly hope i run into you soon dude, may stop by the east cost and head accross canada on my way back. one never knows.

Hey Michaela, I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this to you yet, but we had a visit from Rachelle Laplaine on the 22nd (BTW Merry Christmas and Happy New Year) and she told us she was 3 months pregnant! This from the woman who said just last year that they weren't ready and wanted to wait a while. She said they decided to start trying and it happened a heck of a lot faster than they expected. She's due early July (the 3rd or 4th - can't remember) and would like to know the sex so I imagine we'll get that news in the next little while. Have fun on the rest of your trip.
