After DeRidder, and facing a long weekend in middle Louisiana, we decided to head home, reconnoiter, do more homework, and plan for a next campaign in the future. We drove I10 to Houston, ate Mexican food at Molina's then drove home. A long day, and it was good to be home.

Doing laundry after a leisurely breakfast. Will head to Little Rock later.
Still in Center. After breakfast we went to the local library and sifted through their genealogy shelves. We found one book of Civil War veterans that said that Sanford had a third wife. That rascal! About every 20 years he got a new one! Off in search of Sanford's grave. We knew he is in Fairview Cemetery, but it has over a thousand graves - a bit large for our "walk it all" approach. We're settled in our hotel in Texarkana for the night. Moms washing her hair and I'm in the Olive Garden bar waiting for a togo order. ;-)
We were planning on going to Center next. As we were driving, we were talking about a place that my father mentioned but we could never find on maps, google, etc. He pronounced it "Tentre Hall," and it was in relation to his father Henry, who we have yet to locate.
