Arrived at Pinnawala this morning for Chelly to have elephant ride and bath. Set off from negombo at around 9 am two an half hour later. Wicky our guide is a little quiet and shy we are hoping he becomes a little more chatty as the days go on, now on next leg of tour, watch for the next blog.

The place we went for the elephants was very well managed and Chelly had an elephant ride up the hill, then she went in the water with the elephant to give home a wash with a coconut shell, she loved the water. The elephant was 43 years old.

Wicky our driver drove for 7 hours today and got us to our first nights stop at Griritale where he had a secret surprise(secret for next blog). Along the way we saw monkeys and Chelly was really excited when we found an elephant walking alongside the road. Wicky Is relaxing a lot more now and his surprise for of first nights stay was amazing. Logging off for now more to come very soon.
