Day off school to see the most important match of season for both clubs. Tough one for Pirates as trailing by 16 after poor 1st leg. Weather picked up nicely for Sky - always seems sunny when they come. Got to ground reasonably early so dad could pick up his T-shirt from Lugger "Cornwall Needs a Stadium". Dad and I were not really interested in Olympics or torch. . . until last night with One Show, Culldrose, David Beckham etc. Feeling really hyped up as flame arrived in Cornwall. Hits home that no more rugby to play, feels odd even though its late May. Guess it is because Cornish Pirates still got a couple of games left! Great for us all to meet up again, Max desperate to meet his friends, especially Sam. Must be a growing up thing, all had to wear shirts, ties and tour fleece. Decided not to go to away leg, watched at home on Sky - oh it was awful, way too tense. Dad was pounding the floor, jumping up and down in 1st half and near a heart attack in 2nd half! All ended well with a very close, but great victory. Think this means we will not be watching any of final on TV, much easier on nerves when at the game.
