Bonnie's latest entry
Morgantown, West Virginia
27 June 2011 – All good things come to an end.
After two years I have returned stateside and thus decided that I should have a closing entry. So, for now my blog will lay dormant (not that many people will notice) until the next time I find myself exploring. I have no idea when fate will take me over oceans again, but as much as I miss…

RoamingPixie Really great that you took an interest in SA history but In 1966 the National Party declared District 6 to be a 'White Group Area' so enabling them to destroy all buildings, except religious ones, on the grounds of 'slum clearance'. They werent removed because it there were mixed races, they were removed because they weren't white. It truly is one the saddest things to happen to Cape Town. If you want to know more about the subject you can go to: http://www.capetown.at/heritage/city/district%206.htm
