I got the Amtrak up to Memphis, where I was staying one night before hopping on the bus to Nashville. Sadly this didn't give me any spare time to see the home of Elvis - what I did see was a bit rough to be honest so maybe it's not a bad thing I didn't spend any time there. It was back on the greyhound to get to Nashville, or Nashborough …
So I'm downing tools and going on a jaunt across the world with Nina, my trusty sidekick (don't tell her I called her that). I like to think of us as Cagney and Lacey, taking on the world together, but the result is likely to be more Laurel and Hardy with us leaving a chaotic wake of mishaps strewn behind us as we blunder our way through South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and America. That aside, I'll be faithfully blogging our adventures as often as possible, so don't forget t…

Fancying a change to the norm I got the Megabus to New Orleans - or if you are saying it like a local 'N'awlins'. Aside from being one of only two white people on the trip and getting surrept…
I travelled to the greyhound station in the heaviest rain imaginable - by the time I got to the station water was dripping from my nose and every single one of my bags was soaking through. Oh …
I had splurged on a flight into Texas as I was heartily sick of extended train and bus journeys - I think I have managed to use every mode of transport available in this country with the excep…

A bonzer time in Sydney then Becs. Although clearly not quite the grand metropolis you expected it to be! But I'm sure it was all made up for by the 5* luxury night in the hotel. Bliss I'm sure.
Lots more photos to enjoy too. You do realise that you are about 3/4 of the way through your trip! Talk about time flying when you're having fun.
Keeps the Blogs coming, always entertaining, nay one could say informative too. :o)
