<![CDATA[Hey everyone,
Welcome to our totally fantastic struth crikey mate flamin galah blog!
We decided in 2007 that we wanted to try something new as life's too short, and as we just couldn't get into the USA we decided that Oz would be for us! After a lot of work we applied for our visa in October 2008 but to-date are still waiting for them to approve it, so we decided to stop wasting time and instead live life to the max and go to Oz early and have some fun while we wait!!
Our plan is to travel around Oz for 12 months in a campervan which we'll buy when we arrive in Brisbane in June and then see which way the wind takes us! We have never been to Oz before so it'll give us a good chance to see the country and decide where we want to settle for when our visa "hopefully" comes through! (touch wood) Please check out the map as we go to see where we are, and how many times we end up going in circles LOL! No Mom's, we won't go and get lost in the Outback....well we hope not!!! :)
On the way we plan to stop over in LA for a few days to break the flight up, and as Emma wants to go to Magic Mountain (Andy is scared), and Andy wants to go Cheesecake Factory (so does Emma).
Then 14hrs later, and a missing Saturday, we'll touch down in Auckland, New Zealand for 3 weeks traveling around the North Island! After this, and possibly a bungee jump later, we'll leave for Oz to start our adventure!
Please feel free to leave us messages on the message board as we'd love to hear from you!
Andy & Emma
