However Hacienda Tijax is wonderful in all other respects. Staying in little cabins on stilts on a jungle island. Awesome place just to chill out & my goodness the food is delish!

Another first...sunset swim in a jungle pool. Perfect antidote for the sweltering wet heat.

Sadly still being eaten alive by mosquitos :(
