So we dragged ourselves barely awake to the night bus. Perhaps the pisco sour is the culprit. Not a great journey, woke at 2 am on fire as the heaters was on melting plastic temperatures. Always difficult getting off a night bus still in the dark & even worse when you have to hang around the bus station until the hostel opened.

We are staying in El Punto. Mixed reaction so far. They upgraded us to a private room for only a dollar a night but charged us for breakfast! We shall see, it may just be night bus grump talking.
