New York Times Fact-checker Incorrect. You were first in New York aged just less than 2, where you learned in 0.0003 nanoseconds that the word for biscuit was "cookie" (in Bloomingdales, I reckon). You put your first sentence together very shortly afterwards (I think it was probably something like: "me want cookie please"; plus ca change.....)

Annabel Well, I've tried to take up the 'Jade' challenge, assuming it was aimed at me :) But I'm sorry to say I have failed completely.... All I can tell you is that it is indeed a green vegetable served commonly in Hong Kong, although also in China, and indeed commonly served with ginger, as you had it.
