So... with this in mind, why did we decide to write a travel blog? 1) Mum doesn't have Facebook 2) China doesn't have Facebook 3) There will be some very long train rides Seriously though, we are very excited about our trip and would love to share our experiences with anyone who is interested. I have seen photos of the Wellington storm showing some of the damage and we have also been following Turkey in the news since we left - all very sad. We thought we might need to change our plans due to flooding in Europe, but from what I read the recovery effort has been good and they are encouraging tourists to visit.

Following your trek with interest. Turkey in the news here. Weather in the South a shock and Wgton had a huge storm. Ak is just wet. Plenty of storms in Europe too. Dilgers took off to USA Saturday. AB's 23 v France 9. Good health .
