Hey Adrienne! Such a long post... thanks for the update.

1. How can they not insulate their houses when they have 4 seasons like us? I'm so confused. Is it all houses or just houses designed for foreigners?? If you don't pay for hyrdo maybe you can get a small space heater?

2. So they handle their internet like communists???? That's so weird. I guess it really wasn't that long ago since our internet was done like that.... funny how fast things change.

3. Congrats about school. Wow. That's amazing. Its hard not to think you're in the right place when everything seems to come so naturally.

4. Travelling is like a drug then. I hope I can discover that for myself, but for now I'll have to take your word on it. It does sound like its been an exciting year!

5. I'd be interested to hear more about the similarities between the two countries. Do you think they're similar because they are both westernized or is it more than that? Maybe NZ is influenced by Austrailia the same way we are influenced by the States?

Dear Dr. Phil, how come I can't have as much fun as Adrienne? I'd like to move to NZ, have lots of friends, and have a PhD drop into my life! I had never thought about the world map. Shows how egocentric I am! The NZ one makes more sense though if you think about it... having the Prime Meridian on the far left. Very cool!
